Moderator Responsibilities

Free Moderators:

• Monitor chat activity during streams to ensure a positive environment.
• Ban or timeout users for inappropriate behavior (e.g., hate speech, spam, negativity).
• Enforce channel rules and Twitch guidelines.
• Report any serious incidents or issues.

Paid Moderators:

• All of the above responsibilities, PLUS:Clip funny, entertaining, or key moments from the stream.
  Highlight footage for stream recaps or social media.
  Actively engage with the chat community to keep conversations lively and welcoming.
  Greet new viewers and make them feel included.
  Help set up and track Twitch goals (subs, follows, donations).
  Coordinate and encourage participation in special events or challenges.
